13 Things I Secretly Believe (But Won't Admist on A Normal Day)

  1. I believe in the universe sending signs, and no, I don't usually overthink them.

  2. I believe smells have a stronger grip on memories than anything else.

  3. I don't usually believe in cutting off people. I prefer using them according to my convenience, and let them think they matter to me.

  4. I believe in gut feeling more than the sixth sense, because your body is your soulmate. So when your best friend rejects something or someone, you take it seriously.

  5. I believe God keeps a certain number of dimwits around me to keep me grounded and to increase my tolerance level.

  6. I believe parenthood makes one selfish and reduces the capacity to think about the greater good of humanity and society.

  7. I believe people who spend a fair amount of their life following sports, gambling, and other government-created enterprises are further from the actual truth.

  8. I strongly believe people who invest too much time and energy in politics (i.e., if they aren't politicians) have no personal life or suck at friendship and romance.

  9. I think gender equality is another bogus idea to keep us occupied, away from the real issues, and to keep us divided while they rule.

  10. Michael Jackson was right when he said, "They don't really care about us!"

  11. I believe sometimes the most difficult questions have the simplest and most obvious answers.

  12. I am starting to believe a lot of guys are turning gay because they aren't masculine, but they crave masculinity around them in the same gender to feel safe. And a lot of women are turning lesbian because they aren't getting that manly, secure feeling from the opposite gender.

  13. I believe silence is more intimate than sex, but to get there, two people need clarity, communication, ownership, vulnerability, memories, security, and a lot of steamy sex sessions.

Bonus Addition:

  1. I strongly believe I can be a brilliant therapist, despite my weaknesses.

  2. I really believe happy endings are overrated. I sometimes crave meaningful middles.

  3. I believe some heartbreaks are important to crack us open and put the pieces back into the relevant places.

  4. I feel love doesn't always bring us butterflies. Sometimes it brings us calmness — and yet holds the power to turn our lives and us upside down.

  5. I strongly believe I could ghost everyone around me and start over in a new place — and still be fine with it.

  6. I genuinely believe I intimidate more people than I realize — not because I am scary, but because I am too real.

  7. I believe emotional people like me are stronger than insensitive, emotionless, and rude people — because we don't choose the coward's way out. We get right into the problem.

  8. I believe flirting is an art. It shouldn't only be performed for fun and perks, but to elevate the intellectual level. And I badly wish someone would speak this language fluently with me — and match my level.

  9. I strongly believe stability is the sexiest. Someone showing up, checking in on time, and keeping his/her word? Underrated.

  10. I think emotional distance from someone is worse than the end of a relationship.

  11. I strongly believe, and highly recommend, achieving the power to feel too much, speak up, get heartbroken, and yet choose softness.

  12. I believe women aren't complicated. We're just rarely, truly, and patiently heard.

  13. The more boring you are on social media, the more easily you avoid fake people around you. Be the most boring person on social media and the most colourful in real life to actually thrive.
